When Sue and Blaine were ready to build their next home, the decision of who to build with was easy. This is the third home Sue has built with Haven Homes, and her enthusiasm for the process has only grown — she's become one of our most generous referral sources, telling friends and neighbors about the experience every chance she gets.
The new home sits in Heber Valley with views of the surrounding foothills, blending Modern English architecture with the warmth Sue and Blaine wanted in their forever home. Steep gabled rooflines, smooth white stucco, black-framed windows, and natural wood entry columns set the tone from the curb. Inside, the home spans roughly 4,600 square feet with four bedrooms, a finished basement, and a three-car garage.
A bright two-story great room anchors the main level, with vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams, and oversized black-framed windows that pull in the surrounding landscape. Engineered hardwood floors run throughout the main living areas, paired with custom built-in bookshelves that flank the fireplace and add warmth and character to the space. The double-door entry opens to a light-filled foyer with mountain views and an open staircase leading down to the lower level.
The primary suite is a quiet retreat, featuring vaulted ceilings, a freestanding soaking tub, double vanities with brushed gold accents and matte black fixtures, and a skylight that fills the bath with natural light. Throughout the home, Sue's eye for detail shows up in the lighting choices, hardware, and mix of warm wood tones with clean white finishes.
